Sweet dreams

“For 30 years I’ve wanted to make a cradle,” says Bill, “and I recently had the opportunity.” This piece uses two of Bill’s favorite woods, cherry and tiger maple. They are artfully combined in an original design that’s inspired by the best in traditional cradles. Lovely turnings add grace to the posts, while thin double-string inlay embellishes the top stretcher. This piece is sure to become a treasured heirloom.
