Is
a rose really a rose?
The roses inlaid in the cabinet doors of
this Shaker-style lingerie chest are a
prime example of precision marquetry.
Bill’s friend Beth Connor
painstakingly cut each part of the rose
from a different color wood and pieced them
together into a flowing image. And speaking
of flowing, notice how Bill
“bookmatched” the curly cherry
on the drawer fronts into one continuous
pattern. He’d be happy to make one
just for you. So, give him a call.
