Off the charts

The French walnut grain pattern on the front of this nautical chart chest was carefully “bookmatched” by Bill to achieve a continuous flow, even though it is spread out over 11 drawers and a pull-out reading shelf. The dart inlays around the brass drawer pulls are bird’s-eye maple. Bill has made four of these chests, each one an original with its own distinctive look and beauty that is, well, off the charts. (See testimonial.) Bet you could talk him into making a fifth.
