Bill’s all-time
favorite
One of the reasons Bill is so fond of
this mahogany sofa table is that it
required him to use all of the traditional
cabinet-making skills that he has been
perfecting throughout his career. The
construction is tricky, of course, and the
inlays are very delicate. The undulating
anigrie skirts follow the curve of the top,
and the legs are banded and fluted. The
piece was patterned after an early 1800s
design and is now proudly displayed in a
Damariscotta living room.
