Made to match her chairs

The woman who commissioned this twin pedestal dining table for her southern mansion in Kentucky already had the chairs, which were antiques. So, after hand-picking just the wood to match the grain pattern of the chairs, Bill aged it to the right color tone by using lye. Now all the pieces look like they were made together as a set.
