At the end of the 17th century, game tables came into demand as the popularity of gaming rose dramatically. On this reproduction piece, the top flips over to make a round surface, and the delicate string inlay and bell-flower marquetry add a distinctive touch. Slightly banged up, it caught Bill’s eye, and he bought it to restore for himself. He still has it, though, of course, he’s always open to offers.
